What We Are Looking For:
 
We are seeking a Sales Director, Strategic Customer Acquisition with experience leading a sales team to help identify, penetrate new business targets and exceed revenue goals.  The role involves strategic planning, managing people, selling, leveraging technology and improving existing processes. The ideal candidate will be a capable and experienced senior professional with strong communications skills, mastery of the sales process applied to different types of prospects and existing businesses, and a demonstrated understanding of telecommunications, APIs, and software.
 
What You'll Do:
  • Coach a team of 10 strategic sales reps to ensure sales quota attainment.
  • Help your team identify, evaluate and establish footholds in new markets.
  • Drive your team to win new customers and ensure their success and growth over their first 12 months with Bandwidth.
  • Navigate complex accounts with matrixed decision-making, identify key players.
  • Create, implement and execute strategic account plans.
  • Maintain forecasts for complex and high-value customers.
  • Assist with complex contract negotiations, attend sales presentations and help close prospective opportunities.
  • Responsible for ensuring sales teams are equipped with the product, system, and selling-skills training that they are required to be successful.
What You Need:
  • Must have 10+ years of sales leadership experience in a technology organization. 
  • 8+ years of experience managing to a sales team quota.
  • 5+ years of experience working with sales technology and CRM.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication skills required
  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience. 
  • Must possess expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution with Fortune 500 level accounts
  • Ability to travel
