About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering Manager to lead the strategic development of our public website. This role is not just about maintaining the status quo; you will have the opportunity to elevate our website to world-class standards and make it a competitive advantage for our business. You will, also, be instrumental in building and guiding a high-performing team that aligns with our strategic goals.
You will
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 6-8 Software Engineers fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Strategic Vision: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, UX Designers, and Tech Leads to define and execute a forward-thinking strategy for our public website.
- Adobe Partnership: Lead our engagement with Adobe through implementing best practices across platforms such as AEM, EDS, Target, DAM, and Analytics.
- Roadmap Management: Oversee the team’s execution roadmap ensuring effective pipeline grooming and delivery of objectives.
- Performance Accountability: Drive accountability for team and individual performance, aligning with sprint goals and quarterly OKRs.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on marketing metrics and trends to ensure our website remains competitive and effective.
- Cultural Advocacy: Embody and promote our company values by contributing positively to our workplace culture.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- 12+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of proven technical leadership experience.
- 1+ year of Engineering Manager experience leading strategic development of our public website
- Expertise with Adobe platforms (AEM, EDS, Target, DAM, Analytics).
- Strong systems thinking and platform strategy skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in React, HTML, XML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Strong ownership mentality and a proactive approach to challenges.
