Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week from our beautiful Draper, UT headquarters. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.  

Essential Job Duties

As a Manager, Outbound at BambooHR, you will lead and develop a team of Outbound Account Executives (AEs) and Outbound Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to achieve maximum results. You will work closely with sales and marketing leaders to devise strategies that increase volume and effectiveness of your team's creation and closing of pipeline. Your role will involve designing and creating target prospect lists, continuously improving outbound practices to increase conversion and closure of pipeline, setting team goals, proactive coaching and motivating team members, performance managing all team members, reporting out on performance of your team, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Your daily responsibilities as a Manager, Outbound at BambooHR will include:

  • Managing and scaling lead generation teams to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Aligning sales strategies with marketing and organizational goals.
  • Conducting regular assessments of progress regarding weekly and monthly forecasts.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to encourage accountability and professional growth.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Utilizing CRM systems and sales management software to manage sales processes and analyze data.
  • Building and maintaining strong professional networks and fostering open communication within the team.
  • Expanding the top of the funnel by complementing centralized marketing campaigns with your team’s prospecting efforts.
  • Developing relationships and alignment across multiple levels, including C-level executives, influencers, and relevant personas.
  • Driving sales execution by holding AEs accountable to using BambooHR's sales process to close new logo business.
  • Preparing accurate forecasts, monitoring pipeline coverage, and monitoring AE & BDR notes and activities in the CRM tool.
  • Demonstrating product proficiency with a working knowledge across BambooHR's service lines.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the SaaS industry.
  • 2+ years outbound sales leadership experience over a team that identifies and qualifies sales opportunities via phone and email.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in managing and growing lead generation teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Highly professional and excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure success in speaking to all levels of an organization. 
  • Strong organizational skills to keep detailed records and prioritize tasks.
  • Professional demeanor during conflicts, addressing issues calmly and constructively.
  • Adaptability to seamlessly adjust to changes in team dynamics, leadership, or roles.
