Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.
Essential Job Duties
As a Marketing Operations Manager at BambooHR, you'll ensure our Marketing team is equipped and empowered to deliver across multiple marketing channels - including Customer Marketing, Demand Generation, Events, Partner Marketing, and Creative. Functioning as a trusted operational partner, you’ll focus on maximizing marketing efficiency and effectiveness. You’ll do this through managing marketing technology tools, understanding how those tools work together, and optimizing the processes behind them.
You will:
- Develop strong relationships of trust with assigned marketing teams and leaders, acting as their thought partner and operational subject matter expert
- Maintain and manage our marketing automation platform (Marketo), including various system integrations into our CRM (Salesforce)
- Plan, prioritize, and execute various marketing operations projects and initiatives for your marketing stakeholders (data cleaning, lead scoring, etc.)
- Create and manage marketing processes that are efficient, effective, and have high ROI
- Design industry-leading operational structures needed to drive marketing qualified lead volume holistically across all channels (lead scoring, attribution, etc.)
- Troubleshoot lead flow volume, respond to marketing business operational needs, and proactively monitor systems
- Enable marketing teams with a tech landscape that will maximize impact, potentially recommending or implementing new tools on the martech roadmap
- Proactively identify areas of need / operational gaps within our marketing team and design projects that will solve them
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- You have 2-5 years of experience in Marketing Operations specifically (preferably in a SaaS company)
- You’ve gained significant experience with marketing automation platforms (particularly Marketo), and are comfortable with lead processing flows, enrichment flows, lifecycle flows, etc.
- You’re familiar with project management tools such as Wrike or Asana
- You’re confident working in Google Sheets and have a data mindset
- You have experience building strong relationships with internal customers and teams - setting proper expectations and providing strong visibility to your work
- You have impeccable project management skills - effectively planning, prioritizing, and working cross-functionally to deliver results on time.
- You're known for your analytical mindset and ability to problem-solve ambiguous issues
What Will Make Us REALLY Love You
- Experience with Account-Based Marketing tools
- You are Marketo certified!
- Experience with lead routing tools or lead scoring
- Previous customer marketing experience with expansion sales and operations experience supporting an expansion model would be ideal
- You have experience with Salesforce reporting and the SFDC campaign object.
- You have contagious enthusiasm about marketing operations and truly love what you do!
- While you’re confident in your ability to support specific marketing groups independently, you also consider yourself a team player.
- Conflict doesn’t scare you and you’re able to continually push forward and deliver results amidst stakeholders with various opinions and points of view.
- Beyond Marketo, you’re also familiar with some of our other core marketing technologies (LeanData, Salesforce, Ringlead, Drift, Zoominfo, Goldcast, etc.)
