Essential Job Duties

As Director of Sales Enablement, you will be responsible for defining and leading the sales enablement strategy for BambooHR’s revenue organization, including acquisition and expansion sales. Partnering closely with our VP of Operations, you will develop and execute a sales enablement strategy that supports BambooHR’s overall growth and go-to-market priorities. You will develop and lead onboarding and ongoing training programs to drive productivity of our Sales and SDR teams, including inbound and outbound, as well as scaling an enablement function in a high-growth environment for new logo and expansion teams. You will:

  • Be a key voice in defining the go-to-market strategy for several sales motions, such as: inbound high intent sales, Sales Development, low intent, International, Business Development, Partner, specialized product sales, and Expansion.
  • Set clear KPIs to track the impact of your enablement programs, and adjust your approach based on what’s working (and what’s not!).
  • Establish data and reporting in a way that delivers insights to the sales process and environment.
  • Develop a comprehensive sales enablement strategy in partnership with our sales leadership and executive team.
  • Ensure our sales teams have everything they need – from product knowledge and sales best practices to industry positioning – to sell with confidence and deliver results.
  • Drive alignment cross-functionally across sales, operations, marketing, sales leadership and other go to market teams to ensure the highest quality content is built for the full customer lifecycle.
  • Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new hires are fully equipped with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Lead the ongoing training programs including sales methodology, playbooks, role-specific training and initiatives. 
  • Partner with Product Marketing to equip teams with data, assets, collateral, and sales levers for top use cases, such as competitive regional battlecards.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of changing strategies and make agile adjustments to stay ahead of the curve.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • You have 10+ years in Sales Enablement roles that includes 6+ years of experience managing high performing teams in a high-growth SaaS sales environment.
  • You have a proven ability to create and roll out successful sales enablement programs in a complex organization with multiple sales motions.
  • You possess exceptional attention to detail and have a proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, both in writing and presentations, to diverse audiences
  • Extensive experience with cloud-based software and solutions, leveraging your expertise to drive strategic initiatives and optimize business performance.
  • You can establish strong relationships and coach personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • You know how to identify compliance to process and coach to achieve continual improvement.
  • You are excellent at articulating vision and planning execution of training programs.
  • You know how to build successful sales organizations that deliver consistent top performance.
  • You have great business facing skills, understanding of marketing, sales and sales development business needs that drive enablement requirements.

  • Extensive experience managing and leading outbound and international sales teams, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth in diverse global markets.

  • You have executive presence and are able to succinctly define focus areas and drive support for action.

  • Ability to work a Hybrid schedule, with Tuesday-Thursday in our Draper, UT office.
