Essential Job Duties

The Digital Website Analyst will drive website analytics, focusing on SEO and conversion rate optimization. They will analyze data from various platforms, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with marketing leadership on revenue strategies. Responsibilities include maintaining Adobe Analytics data, ensuring data accuracy, managing KPI reporting, and leading A/B testing. They will provide actionable insights to enhance site performance and educate teams on web analytics.

You will:

  • Leverage data from various Mar Tech platforms and systems to conduct thorough website analysis and to identify areas of opportunity for optimization and improvement.
  • Partner closely with marketing leadership to identify revenue and/or profitability opportunities through data-driven insights.
  • Lead the strategic direction of data mapping, collection, and maintenance in Adobe Analytics. Build and maintain the website data specification. Partner with Development and QA teams to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Establish and manage website data governance.
  • Build data threshold monitoring and anomaly detection. Lead debugging, troubleshooting, and problem resolution across teams.
  • Develop a comprehensive measurement framework and reporting standards for the website team and marketing organization focused on KPIs (traffic, conversion, pipeline, etc.).
  • Create specifications (metrics, dimensions, segments etc.) for established reports. Work with data engineering to build appropriate data aggregation.
  • Own website KPI reporting. Lead meetings to review website KPI performance for established reports and for specific initiatives and help steer strategy through data storytelling.
  • From ownership of KPI reporting, be responsible for bringing insights and recommendations to the greater marketing organization on changes that need to be made to the website, spend that needs to be shifted, and most importantly drive revenue from the website at a more efficient, and faster rate.
  • Provide data-driven insights to increase overall site conversion, and improve performance and customer experience.
  • Educate teams in web analytics and create a self-service analytics reporting culture.
  • Play a pivotal role in the site A/B testing strategy and subsequent analysis.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • 2-3 years of experience in website analytics with a strong focus in SEO and conversion rate optimization.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Target.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel and data visualization platforms such as Google Data Studio and Tableau
  • Proven track record of providing strategic insights to improve website conversion and drive revenue.
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills to effectively communicate insights to various stakeholders.
  • Experience with A/B testing strategy and subsequent analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
