Essential Job Duties

In this role, you will be the champion for the successful implementation and usage of the Salesforce CRM platform at BambooHR. Partnering with key stakeholders, you will help lead the ideation, creation, and prioritization of our Salesforce product roadmap, capturing the work from a wide range of inputs to ensure it aligns with business and technical strategies and delivers exceptional value to our customers and stakeholders. 

You will:

  • Partner closely with members of the Salesforce Center of Excellence, including cross-functional teams and key stakeholders companywide to gather requirements, translate them into actionable plans, and bring innovative solutions to life. 
  • Conduct user analysis and stakeholder interviews to identify customer needs, problems, and opportunities
  • Oversee the planning and execution of Salesforce initiatives, ensuring they align with business needs, goals, and objectives
  • Apply design thinking best practices to provide confidence in prioritization and value delivery
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of a corporate-wide product roadmap that prioritizes features, usability, and functionality
  • Function as a capabilities expert on the Salesforce platform
  • Set expectations on outcomes, timelines, and resources needed to ensure that stakeholder expectations are managed appropriately
  • Own and manage the Salesforce product roadmap
  • Lead and facilitate meetings and discussions to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide updates on project progress
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process, design, build, test) to deliver features and products 
  • Ensure that Salesforce builds are implemented and utilized in accordance with best practices and compliance standards
  • Constantly evaluate, measure, and report on product success through quantitative and qualitative measures
  • Foster a data-driven culture and leverage analytics to inform product decisions
  • Create the documentation necessary to facilitate change and to add clarity to all stakeholders, both technical and non-technical (e.g. KPIs/acceptance criteria, diagrams, mockups, and other communication resources).
  • Regularly participate in product team meetings and communicate with stakeholders of all levels to ensure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, IT, or related field
  • Proven experience as a product manager, ideally with a focus on CRM solutions
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities and the ability to stay current on latest Salesforce features and trends
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce as a platform and integrated systems that provide capabilities for multiple use cases
  • Subject Matter Expert on Salesforce features, functionalities, best practices, and integrations
  • Ability to drive and oversee product design
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate ability to influence customers and stakeholders through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate a team to consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions
  • Communicate clearly around product decisions and the rationale behind them. 
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple deadlines
  • Passion for building user-centric products
