Essential Job Duties

In 2024 we will continue to grow exponentially at BambooHR, which is very exciting! This role will be in addition to our incredible sales leadership team. This international function is a newer muscle for BambooHR so this is an exciting role for someone who has experience and passion for building and scaling teams for long term success. As a Sales Manager, your role will be to help your team of international account executives reach monthly sales goals and with their development to maximize their sales potential. You will work with your team to support and build out their pipeline creation and success. We will depend on you to coach and train up your reps as they grow here. Don’t worry, we do have an exceptional training program all reps go through in their first few weeks of getting hired. Not to mention, the sales coaches, trainers, and resources you’ll have to utilize. In addition, you’ll work with the rest of the leadership team on operational projects, strategic plans, and overall department growth.

You will:

  • Lead a sales team of closing International Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s) and Account Executives in the small to medium size market
  • Help your team meet revenue goals on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Analyze various data points to determine opportunities for your team members’ development 
  • Take an active part in supporting team members with larger deals. Be a second voice to help get deals across the finish line
  • Collaborate with leadership team to forecast, train, and motivate the team members
  • Mentor your team by helping team members with calls, performing live demos, setting goals and holding them accountable, assisting in overcoming client concerns, and roadblocks
  • Be accountable for your team’s behaviors and results
  • Identify critical behaviors that lead to success and coach to model and replicate those behaviors in your reps
  • Build out our stellar sales team through your involvement in the hiring proces

What We’ll Love About You

  • 2-3+  years managing international sales Account Executives (experience in leading over SDR’s is a plus) in the SaaS (software as a service) industry
  • 1-2 + years of experience as an Account Executive (international preferred) within inbound and outbound
  • Experience in SalesForce is preferred
  • You have SMB (target market in small to medium size businesses) experience
  • You have the ability to paint a vision and get buy-in from your team of reps
  • You have demonstrated collaboration, persuasion, and mentorship/coaching skills
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You act with the team’s best interest in mind. Great attitude, self-motivated, and not selfish
  • You have a proficiency and knowledge of various solution-selling methodologies and best practices
  • You have strong leadership, creativity, and analytical skills
  • You will have strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Must be willing to work a 4/10 schedule with hours 12pm-11pm MT
