We are looking for an experienced digital marketing leader that is driven by results. Your mission is to scale Backbase through a cohesive global digital strategy. You’re an expert in online marketing and have the experience managing / optimizing performance marketing campaigns, building and leading a team, and partnering with analytics and developers to scale these efforts through automation. You know how to invest to maximize results, test and optimise demand generation programs and measure their impact across the funnel. You are energized by performance marketing, growing efficiently and looking for new areas to optimize. You will be reporting to the VP Marketing.
- Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary digital marketing team (web engineer, UX/Graphic design, SEM expert and digital marketeer). Hire the best and enable people to do the best work of their careers.
- Build, manage and optimize backbase.com and all other customer facing web assets with focus on UX and customer acquisition / b2b lead-gen
- Define and orchestrate all online marketing, acquisition, and global campaigns efforts across digital channels including Web, SEO, SEM, Paid Social, Webinars, eMail, and more in partnership with Product Marketing team.
- Build effective relationships with field sales and channel sales: Create, manage and optimize demand generation programs with focus on achieving key demand generation objectives enabling regional sales growth.
- Create targeted demand generation campaigns for our main segments: Retail Banking, Business Banking, Wealth Management and Insurance.
- Regularly measure, optimize and report on key digital demand generation efforts to demonstrate material contribution to global pipeline generation
- Digital Marketing professional pur-sang, with expert understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce, and other key web technologies.
- Experience establishing and monitoring tracking against marketing initiatives to ensure ROI-positive results
- A strong grasp of the rapidly evolving marketing technology field
- Deep experience (5+ years) in successful digital demand generation programs from creation through to execution, measurement, analysis and reporting across channels, products and verticals.
- Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast paced, high growth environment under tight deadlines. Creative fixer.
- The ability to manage multiple programs at one time and support a diverse sales organization.
- Ability to think strategically and articulate strategic initiatives. Strong presentation, writing and communication skills required
- Excellent project management skills with an ability to prioritize on their own, and delegate tasks when appropriate.
- Street smart and digital savvy. Proven to be able to do more with less. Do-it-yourself mentality. Hands-on mentality.
