We’re on a mission to transform small business banking and unlock opportunities for a new generation of digital entrepreneurs! We are seeking a VP of Product to drive this vision and oversee Azlo’s Product & Design strategy, team, and roadmap. 

What you’ll do

  • Define and own Alzo product vision. 
  • Develop and prioritize a product and design roadmap to execute this strategy. 
  • Lead, develop, and recruit a distributed and growing team of innovative product managers and designers.
  • Consistently and predictably deliver high-quality product, that balances customer needs and company goals. 
  • Enable our Design Team to craft an intuitive and customer-centric user experience.
  • Build and continuously optimize scalable processes, systems, and standards.
  • Set and drive an outcome-oriented pace and release schedule with the product and design team.
  • Collaborate with internal partners across departments in order to execute vision and ship product. 
  • Stay on top of industry trends and continuously identify opportunities to improve our product position. 
  • Identify and form relationships with potential vendors or partners. 

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years in digital product. Strong preference for background in banking, payments, or other financial services. 
  • Experience in tech/software development and deep knowledge of agile, best practices and design principles. 
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and lead distributed product and design teams in scaling-phase companies. 
  • Excellent change management and communication skills; a demonstrated ability to align peers, product managers, designers, and other partners around a shared vision.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and delivering solutions that ensure the ability to build for scale and meet customer needs. 
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, on multiple concurrent projects where team members are based in multiple locations. 
  • Able to quickly and effectively transition from a macro perspective into the details and day-to-day of the team. 
  • Knowledge of small business landscape is highly preferred.
