As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers and for managing high valued customers. In addition to providing support and training, you will help optimize and sell available ad impressions on the platform, identify growth opportunities with our customers, reduce unsold ad inventory and ensure revenue targets are met.
You have a passion for marketing, technology and specifically AdTech and are driven by building, developing & managing consultative Account Managers with existing strategic customers.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and inspire the Account Manager team, ensuring alignment with our organizational objectives and driving revenue growth across key accounts.
- Develop and implement effective account strategies tailored to our customers, leveraging team insights, sales methodologies, digital media trends, and proficient sales management techniques.
- Directly manage and mentor a talented group of Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Manager, Business Development Manager and Director of Sales.
- Deliver Monthly revenue objectives and ensure customers receive the best service and support from your team.
- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers, support your team by having an in-depth understanding of their customers.
- Improve the campaign management processes in order help key accounts increase their ROI.
- Work with relevant stakeholders and provide structured feedback about customers and market opportunities.
What you'll need to be successful:
Must haves:
- Minimum 3 years in a team leadership or Manager position within a sales environment.
- Display an innate passion and extensive knowledge of digital media platforms and ecosystems.
- Can work on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables.
- Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks.
- Previous experience in client-facing digital media including, but not limited to, online advertising, media buying, affiliate marketing, or account management.
- A consistent track record of exceeding sales objectives and demonstrable planning and forecasting skills to ensure analytical analysis of opportunities.
- Good network within the online advertising industry.
- Strategic thinking in respect to the market and customer needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
