About the Role

Axuall is seeking a smart, energetic and highly motivated Product Manager to drive the development of Axuall’s product and enhance its value for all stakeholders.  This means listening to clients, working with vendors, understanding the market and our competition, setting the product vision, driving innovation, writing detailed requirements and executing on the product betas and launches. They will conduct business analysis and lead scope preparation, understand technical requirements, and interact with customers and vendors. 

The Product Manager will collaborate closely with our product, engineering, and operations teams.  The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented; a self-starter, diligently organized, excellent communication skills, and has a passion for excellence and values education, integrity, innovation, and success.

 

What You’ll Do

This role will report to the Chief Product Officer.  We are looking for people who feel comfortable taking on bold initiatives, who are both highly accountable and self-empowered. Some of the specific functions and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Deeply understand our customers and their data needs
  • Develop and own key parts of our data and integration product strategy and roadmap including cost modeling, competitive sourcing, and contingency planning. 
  • Drive customer-focused decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution in the face of ambiguity and complexity
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with leadership, go-to-market teams, and other key stakeholders across the company
  • Build processes that will scale as our team and company grow
  • Work with current issuers and collaborate with Axuall’s legal team to extend and enhance data contracts
  • Identify, partner with, and onboard issuers not on Axuall’s network
  • Identify partnership opportunities with additional data providers and potential strategic partners

 

Qualifications 

Candidates for the Product Manager position must demonstrate extensive hands-on experience and knowledge of industry best practices in the functions listed above.  Specific requirements include:

  • You have 3+ years of experience as a product manager at a SaaS-based data company 
  • You have 2+ years of experience in data integration and automation
  • Knowledge of API platforms and other integrations on a large scale.
  • You have a strong technical background and excel at analytical thinking
  • An ability to analyze and find issues or bugs and work with the operations team to resolve them
  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator
  • You have a proven track record of taking ownership, taking initiative, and delivering results
