The Role

AXS is seeking a talented and motivated Director, Marketing Services to join our Artist Services team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage many projects, proven success in a client-facing role and an understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies. The Director, Marketing Services will be the primary marketing point of contact for AXS’ ticketing clients and AXS’ Artist Services’ supported tours.. This person will be knowledgeable of AXS’ marketing and promotional capabilities, including AXS’ website, mobile app, email database, social media platforms and strategic partners.  This role will promote AXS’ marketing solutions to clients and partners, as well as create tour and event marketing programs that increase event awareness and ticket sales via AXS. The ideal candidate excels at building strong relationships while effectively managing both client expectations and internal teams supporting client deliverables. Additionally, this role will assist in the creation and delivery of marketing materials that showcase and promote AXS’ products and services within the live entertainment industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Represent AXS’ marketing capabilities to AXS’ clients and tour partners
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that leverage AXS’ database, web/mobile presence, social media platforms and strategic partners that promotes brand awareness for AXS and its’ partners, drives incremental ticket sales (primary and secondary) and promotes premium offers for venues and national touring partners
  • Establish proactive marketing campaigns supporting AXS’ Key Performance Indicators
  • Collect, analyze and interpret campaign performance data to make data-driven optimizations for current and future campaigns
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of all marketing campaigns
  • Produce client-facing materials that showcase AXS’ capabilities, as well as campaign effectiveness
  • Track and provide marketing and sales metrics for internal stakeholders
  • Provide support to the department and perform other duties, as assigned

What to Bring

  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience, with ticketing experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Strong quantitative skills including analytical abilities
  • Ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues across the executive, mid-manager and day-to-day operations levels in a professional, service-oriented manner
  • Excellent time management, presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressures and tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and basic web-based protocols and communication tools
  • Positive with a “can do” attitude
  • Team player who enjoys working in a high achieving, “start-up” environment
