AXON is seeking an experienced Insights and Strategy Lead who will be the linchpin in providing high-quality, evidence-based analysis to develop cutting-edge strategies for our clients. With your deep understanding of healthcare, scientific knowledge, and analytical expertise, you will synthesize insights, identify unmet needs, and drive strategic initiatives across AXON.

As the Insights and Strategy Lead you will:

  • be accountable for delivering a robust, evidence-based synthesis of findings from disparate sources to ensure high quality insights and turning those insights into a targeted strategy.
  • leverage your expertise to analyze market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and provide data-driven recommendations to guide our business decisions.
  • Build strong partnerships with other internal Leads to share best practices and learn from challenges to further embed the end-to-end insights process.

We are looking for a dedicated individual that combines natural curiosity with sound reasoning to strengthen AXONs resolve to transform healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Champion standard research approaches, frameworks, and analytics methods to uncover true patient/HCP insights to assist in the development of robust, credible, and meaningful strategies/initiatives.
  • Define, plan, and execute certain types of structured/unstructured data analysis as needed such as qualitative and/or quantitative research, findings from voice of customer sources using analytic tools/technology to dig deeper into opportunities or specific findings, and industry trend reports.
  • Drive the evolution of findings into insights by facilitating discussions to uncover globally relevant motivations, beliefs, and needs (including recommending additional analyses to supplement findings).

Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field (science, sociology, marketing, business, statistics, anthropology, etc.). Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in primary or secondary market research role or insights at a global agency, in insights consulting, or client side. Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals preferred.
  • Experience demonstrating excellence in quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to drive insights into actionable recommendations through compelling story telling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously; has experience in and enjoys fast paced environments.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
