Your Impact
As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of software engineering at Axon. Your work will directly influence the efficiency and effectiveness of our development teams, impacting the quality of products and services we deliver to our customers worldwide.
What You’ll Do
Location: Hybrid, HCMC Office
- Lead the design and development of scalable infrastructure and platform services with a focus on reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Develop a delightful developer/builder experience by creating efficient and effective tools and processes that boost development productivity and accelerate delivery at high quality.
- Create and optimize tools and processes that streamline development workflows.
- Spearhead initiatives to enhance shared core customer experiences across product pillars, ensuring consistency, high quality, and the elimination of duplicated efforts.
- Foster a culture of knowledge and experience sharing, providing guidance, best practices, and tooling on architecture choice and design for developers.
- Mentor team members and lead by example in knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Champion operational excellence (OE) within the team and across Axon, setting and driving standards, and building tools and mechanisms to achieve these standards efficiently.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8-10 years of professional experience in software engineering with a proven track record of developing scalable, reliable infrastructure and platform services.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to share knowledge and best practices and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and a strong commitment to automation and process improvement.
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate future needs while delivering incrementally with tangible benefits and measurable impact.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and expertise in one or more programming languages such as Go, Scala, Java, .NET/C#, or similar.
- Strong experience with Relational and NoSQL databases such as MS SQL, Cassandra
