Your Impact 

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual for the role of International Training Solutions Manager to join Axon Training. The primary responsibility of this role is to support customer adoption and implementation of Axon products and services via their training programs. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of TASER New Markets, the successful candidate will work closely with internal country teams and customer training leadership to design and deliver training programs that scale long-term and establish, accelerate, or mature use of force/less lethal training programs. Success is defined by increased public trust in policing, interior defense, and community safety. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, a deep understanding of Axon products and services, operational and tactical training expertise, and the ability to execute autonomously.  


What You’ll Do

Location: Remotely from APAC (Singapore, S Korea, or Japan) and on the road 10-50% of time
Reports to: Director, International Training
Direct Reports: None

ID, assess, prioritize customer training needs

  • Identify customer capabilities and develop sound training plans for customers from pre to post-sales services
  • Partner with customers, sales, and internal stakeholders to align customer Axon and TASER adoption with appropriate training plans
  • Partner with key training stakeholders and support sales teams to educate and inform customers on TASER Technology capabilities.

Localize training programs; Enable customers to scale training programs

  • Serve as trusted advisor to customers, understand their training needs, develop plans, and consolidate internal resources to consistently deliver world class training.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior executives, training managers, to support their strategic priorities and foster long-term partnerships to deliver positive customer outcomes and drive long term adoption. 
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams, to provide guidance for sales team short-, medium- and long-term outcomes; build scalable ways and means to accelerate customer ecosystem adoption.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs to address the specific needs of our customers considering cultural nuances and regional differences; initial focus is key accounts.

Manage training implementation

  • Own overall training delivery end-to-end; serve as trusted advisor to training and command and staff customers
  • Align training delivery, sales, operations, and product teams to custom
  • Deliver consistent results with measurable learning outcomes
  • Provide actionable feedback to customers that results in accelerated adoption and/or use of force maturity

What You Bring

  • Experience working in a Police or Defense Training environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships, particularly with key accounts; strong consultation skill sets 
  • Superior tactical, operational, and strategic training management, with a focus on international markets.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong task and time management skills.
  • Basic financials concepts and data analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of global business dynamics, cultural sensitivities, and training trends.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering effective training programs using various methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training software.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support key accounts.
