Your Impact
As an Operator III with Axon, you will be responsible for repairing assemblies, quality testing, data gathering, and supporting the engineering team and QA department as needed.
What You’ll Do
Reports to: Technician Supervisor
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain electronic components and systems.
- Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Training, and Quality teams regarding failure modes and frequency.
- Visually inspect, test, and assemble components or subassemblies using approved assembly procedures.
- Use a computer to perform testing, download information or record test data.
- Use hand tools, machine tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test products.
- Promote a continuous improvement environment by looking for more efficient ways to perform daily duties.
- Communicate effectively and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Take initiative in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Solve problems or identify issues and assist in resolutions.
- Make reasonable decisions and escalate accordingly.
- Understand and comply with all ESD requirements.
- Promotes a safe work environment by adhering to all safety requirements.
What You Bring
- 1-6 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions.
- Solder experience: IPC J-Standard Certified is preferred but not required.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work within a team.

The pay: Axon’s hourly pay philosophy is made up of base pay and bonus. The starting hourly pay for this role is USD 20.67 in the lowest geographic market and USD 27.88 in the highest geographic market. The actual hourly pay is dependent upon many factors such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
