Your Impact
The European Returns Lead is responsible for overseeing the returns process within the region. The chosen candidate will be tasked with overseeing local resources and collaborating with both on-site and remote teams to resolve process and technical challenges. They will also play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing the Global Returns and Refurbishment service for our customers.
What You’ll Do
Location: Dietzenbach, Germany
Reports to: Senior Supervisor, Global Returns
- Organize and oversee daily operations for the EU Returns team, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Overseeing the team when conducting triage, identifying root causes when necessary, and gather data for returned products.
- Formulate both short and long-term goals and objectives for the team.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, making adjustments to align with team and company objectives.
- Initiate and lead projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and service quality.
- Supervise team performance and foster personnel development initiatives.
- Promote a positive, collaborative work environment, fostering cohesion among team members.
- Collaborate with international counterparts to enhance and maintain consistency in global processes.
- Engage with Global Quality, Manufacturing, Product, and Engineering teams for seamless integration of new products into the service offering.
What You Bring
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience managing a similar Returns / Repair center operation
- Strong understanding of the core processes and steps of a repair, Return and refurbishment type of operation
- Proven leadership skills and budgeting experience
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, and basic knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- A team player with a “can do” attitude capable of working with minimal direction
- Strong planning, organizational, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of ISO 9001 QMS.
- Previous experience using MS Dynamics 365 preferred
- PowerBI and Tableau experience a plus
