Why it matters: As the Accounts Receivable Associate you will be responsible for processing accounting data, and lend your skills towards the accounts receivable & collections processes. This person will have a heavy focus on cash collections and maintaining relationships with our customers. This role is very integrated into the creation of invoices, setup of contracts, follow up with external accounting contacts, performing monthly reconciliations and journal entries. This is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity with growth potential.
The details: In this role, you will make an impact to Axios through the following responsibilities:
- Initial setup of customers, products and contracts, and assist with email inquiries
- Picking up checks and processing cash receipts
- Follow up with past-due customers
- Reviewing monthly invoicing to ensure accuracy
- Work with the team to perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, as well as monthly financial workbook preparation
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Provide technical accounting analysis on non-routine transactions as needed to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner
- Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- 1-2 years of high volume, fast-paced accounts receivable/accounting experience

Base salary for this role is in the range of $55,000-$75,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation benefits.
