This year, we celebrated a major milestone, launching a SaaS product for corporate communications called Axios HQ. We are looking for a proven and innovative sales leader who can lead our growing team of Account Executives. Read more about Axios HQ in the Wall Street Journal.

Why it Matters: This leader will play a critical role in supporting our sales team as they scale Axios HQ’s revenue across the product’s first full year in the market. This role will report to and partner closely with our VP of Sales to create and implement processes and systems to maximize our sales team’s performance and will provide coaching and support to the team as they pace toward their individual revenue goals.

The details: Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Provide support, coaching, and training to a highly talented team of sales professionals
  • Lead hiring efforts for new sales team members and successful onboard new hires
  • Support sales meetings and calls to increase and drive revenue performance across the team 
  • Track data and spot trends to keep team on track toward revenue pacing goals 
  • Manage the tools and processes to support revenue planning and forecasting
  • Report on results to identify strengths and opportunities
  • Proactively problem-solve to help our team find success

  • Exceptional emotional intelligence with a proven track record of coaching and developing high-performing sales talent

  • Experience with: establishing processes related to performance analysis (KPIs); revenue forecasting and budgeting; strategy and planning; sales enablement
