Director, Talent Acquisition

We’re looking for an enthusiastic leader to help us scale our company by leading all of our employer branding and talent acquisition efforts. In short, you’ll be the person responsible for, and credited with, building the next generation at Axios.

By partnering with each of our executives, and senior-level leadership, you’ll be one of the most impactful people at our company. You’ll know everyone by name, the ins-and-outs of what makes us who we are and what we stand for.  You’ll work to lead our exceptional talent acquisition team by steering all hiring at Axios - from strategic planning to oversight of the day-to-day operations of this department. 

The Details: In this role, you’ll be the face of our company and your spirit, values, ideas and energy will impact and shape how people view and experience Axios as an employer. As such, ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for Axios’ mission and have the following skills and experiences:

  • Prior experience building and scaling companies 
  • Experience at high-growth, dynamic organizations 
  • Experience at tech companies preferred 
  • Solutions-oriented mindset and proactive attitude
  • Passion for and experience in people management: desire to motivate, support and lead a team of exceptional people 
  • Passion for building diverse teams, recognizing the collective power of teams whose members bring different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to the table
  • Strong sense of client management/ client-services approach 
  • Passion for effective collaboration and strong team-first attitude
