Why it Matters: Our Branded Studio is growing as we strive to provide holistic platforms for our clients and partners to tell their stories. Our Creative Director will provide design leadership and systems thinking for Axios Branded Studio campaigns while upholding the mission of Axios and putting our clients and partners first.
Go Deeper: The Creative Director will collaborate closely with the Branded Studio leadership team, clients, and agencies to conceptualize multimedia campaigns and execute ideas. They will also work closely with the branded video team to ensure all branded visuals concepts are consistent.
The Details: Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for Axios’ mission and have the following skills:
Graphic design and art direction experience
Exceptional designer and systems thinker; ability to operate with an eye toward business needs paired with effective design solutions
Experience and comfort working with corporate brands and clients
Ability to effectively flex between player and coach as needed; comfortable being a leader and an individual contributor
Successful track record creating design processes and optimizing design team workflow
Mentor and leadership ability
Experience centralizing and shaping ideas
Ability to set a holistic approach to cohesive design and style across multiple campaign elements including video, visuals, graphics, and imagery
Experience with motion graphics and data visualization a plus
