Away is seeking a savvy junior marketing analyst to join our growth marketing team. The right candidate is excited to help build a world-class acquisition program at a venture-backed consumer brand, working on everything from Promoted Pins to podcast advertising to programmatic direct mail and more. This role is based out of our headquarters in SoHo, New York City.


What you'll do:

  • Explore new and emerging acquisition opportunities, surfacing new ideas to the team that may lead to our next 10x breakthrough in growth
  • Scale existing customer acquisition channels, both paid and non-paid, by monitoring what’s working and helping design full-funnel experiments to optimize existing efforts
  • Manage relationships with marketing vendors and agencies
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for the team and identify factors to improve acquisition performance and strategically improve both customer and revenue growth – including segment, cohort, lifecycle and customer action-based insights
  • Create and maintain acquisition marketing KPI reports

Who you are:

  • You’ve had 1-3 years of experience in a highly analytical role. Prior experience in (or working with) startups or e-commerce companies preferred
  • You love using data to inform strategy and decisionmaking. Familiarity with CAC, CPA, ROAS, CTR, and NPS a plus
  • Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets is required
  • Google Analytics IQ, and Google / Bing paid search certifications are preferred
  • Eager to build, measure, and learn in a high-growth environment
  • Love to travel (but that’s a given)
