This is a ground floor opportunity with the team; shape the creative direction of the company. The Content & Community Manager will own the day to day management of content creation and curation, focusing on creating visual content and copywriting to drive brand engagement and social media growth. This person should excel at creative ideation, strive to create best-in-class social media content and engage with the Away community in a fun and engaging way like no other company. The person in this role is expected to meet business targets through innovative content initiatives and out of the box ideas.


This person will report directly to the Director of Brand Marketing and be responsible for the company’s tone of voice on social, creative ideation and content creation. You proactively think of creative concepts for each social channel and bringing those ideas to life start to finish. You will develop and manage content creation and copywriting on a daily-basis, as well as lead the creative process for larger content opportunities such as product launches and key marketing moments.  


  • 1-3 years of creative/marketing experience, including social media and/or community management
  • Strong creative tendencies, including idea generation and execution
  • Exceptional writing skills and how to adapt the language for each channel
  • Strong understanding of social media engagement and new platforms
