We're looking for a designer to join our team to help us translate our vision into a beautiful and thoughtful design system. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the important role empathy plays in designing online and offline experiences that deeply connect with our audiences.
You will report directly to our Design Director and work from our headquarters in Soho, NYC.
You're the right person for this role if you are
- Digitally-minded, but interested in expanding your horizons by working across other mediums and channels
- A critical and analytical thinker who can clearly articulate and communicate your ideas
- A team player with a small ego who is eager to learn and become the best designer you can be
- Keen to collaborate with other creatives and people from the business and marketing teams on any given project
- Comfortable with taking initiative and working independently
- Aware of the latest trends in design, but more interested in looking outside of the world of design for inspiration
Some of the things you'd work on:
- Continue to design and improve our digital platforms, including our e-commerce site, emails, digital advertising
- Help concept and execute exciting ways to introduce new products and seasonal campaigns, including touchpoints across print, packaging, digital, and our physical spaces (retail stores)
- Work on brand and marketing-driven initiatives
You should have
- At least 3 years of experience at design agencies or start-ups (but we put more emphasis on cultural fit and alignment with our passion to change how people travel)
- A portfolio, but more importantly, the ability to talk us through your designs
- A degree in graphic design or related fields is a plus (but we're open to non-traditional career paths)
