Job Overview:          

The Salesforce System Administrator role is part of our Teammate Technology Engineering & Operations team that supports our internal enterprise business applications focused on automation, CRM, accounting systems, collaboration, and workflows. This role is responsible for supporting, developing, configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining these environments.
 
What you'll do:     

  • System Monitoring/Management – First and foremost you will be responsible for ensuring our systems are up and running and being proactive with this monitoring to get ahead of potential issues. You will do this in a variety of ways including:
    1. Maintain 3rd party solutions and integrations by ensuring they are connected and running including updating integration credentials when necessary.
    2. Monitor health of the system/platform through dashboards and other reports. You will be responsible for understanding trends in the system and escalating trends that could be a potential issue in the future.
    3. Monitor daily and scheduled jobs and automation processes to ensure they are successful. If not, you will work with specific teams to fix if there are issues.
    4. Apply or supervise system updates and patches along with data migrations, which also includes being a rotating on call resource if issues arise after hours.
  • User Management – You will be responsible for ensuring all users have the right access to the system. This includes adding, deactivating, and changing permissions when necessary.
  • Troubleshooting/Triage – You will be the frontline support for our systems and should be able to root cause and prioritize issues based on impact so they can be worked on accordingly. In this triage process you will be responsible for:
    1. Individual user issues – You will work with the users to fix the issues and educate them for the future.
    2. Overall system issues – You will be responsible for fully documenting what is happening and who it is impacting. You will also create the initial incident or development card and notify the correct resources.
  • System and Process Optimization – You will be responsible for identifying and driving system optimization and enhancements when possible. When new requests come in you will be responsible for understanding the process and identifying better ways of accomplishing the changes when possible.  You will be expected to run system optimizer reports and be an input to the product roadmap on future enhancements and optimizing the system for performance and scalability.
  • New Solution Delivery – You will be responsible for changes requested to the system to keep up with the expanding business needs. You will also be responsible for releasing this new functionality and ensuring its working as designed after it is released.
    1. An example of new functionality you may be responsible for adding would be new fields, additional drop downs, small changes to existing functionality and / or configuration file changes.
  • Documentation – You will be responsible for ensuring that our system documentation is up to date as well as job aids and process documents.
    1. Create help and FAQ documents as new cases come in to ensure speedy future resolution.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Prior experience providing system administration or application support for business systems
    and 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator
  • Curious about learning new capabilities, technologies and processes
  • CPQ Experience is a HUGE plus!
  • Financial Services industries experience is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office are essential; experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Salesforce, NetSuite, or other CRM experience as either a super user or administrator
  • Experience working with ITIL tools like ServiceNow
  • Experience working with automation tools like Blue Prism
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members on a regular basis
