Investor Relations Associate

Alumni Ventures Group is a fast-growing, 80-person organization that builds and manages alumni and focused venture capital funds. Our corporate headquarters, located in Manchester, NH, provides back-office support and other resources to our funds across the country. On an annual basis, these funds raise money from accredited individuals to invest in venture and alternative assets. AVG has successfully launched 25 venture funds over the past four years and is looking to launch another dozen or so funds over the next few years. We are private, for profit, and not part of any school.

We're looking for an experienced Investor Relations Associate with moderately strong financial skills to play a key role in our Manchester office. Beyond your financial skills, you will need to be a quick learner; able to work independently and efficiently; demonstrate a professional work ethic; and continually juggle many projects to meet our quality standard.  

This is a full-time position located  in AVG’s Manchester, NH headquarters with little to no travel required and generous comp and benefits. You will work with an incredibly talented group of individuals both on on Investor Relations team and across AVG in a highly collaborative environment, and report to our Director of Investor Relations within the finance department.

  • Daily customer service and partner communications
  • Manage the back-end fund closure process including;
    • Provide white-glove customer service to high end, sophisticated investors via phone, email and chat
    • Work alongside the finance and accounting team to ensure proper tracking of records
    • Manage and process investor subscription information including the collection of signatures, proof of ‘Accredited Investor’ status, and investor funds
  • Prepare and proofread documents for dissemination to investors, partners, and entrepreneurs
  • Update and maintain information and documentation within our CRM
  • Help print, manage, and organize both historical and new files with our accounting and finance team
  • Provide support to team members throughout the organization
  • Be an active participant in the improvement process as it relates to our approach, process, products, and services
