It collects and connects car information that is essential for both sellers and buyers on the platform. In this role, you will be interfacing with our product and software development teams, manage data with direct website impact, and learn a lot in maintaining vehicle taxonomy our listing at AutoScout24.

In this role you will assist the Listing Intelligence Product Manager and the respective engineering team with defining the taxonomy, meaning the brands, models and vehicle characteristics that we support on Autoscout24. Join our Listing Intelligence Team in the Search & Performance department and help us shaping new ways to make car listing data more accessible for the users of our platform and more successful for our dealers.

What you'll do:

  • Analyze and map new vehicle information from 3rd party vendor data feeds to the AS24 Taxonomy.
  • Support on Vehicle Knowledge Hub initiative, identifying and configuring the controlled value set for additional Taxonomy dimensions.
  • Review, verify, and implement request on changes or extensions of the Make/Model Taxonomy based on User/Sales/Dealer feedback
  • Support the engineering team on data requests on team initiatives

What you’ll learn with us:

  • Maintain the vehicle taxonomy (models, manufacturers, and more) as the basis for presenting classifieds on our cross-European platform
  • Support product managers while creating, validating, and implementing user stories using Jira and Confluence
  • Research on new and established car manufacturers to expand and improve the vehicle taxonomy
  • Create, test, and update our data tables
  • Be creative and brainstorm your ideas with the team to make the maintenance of the listing more efficient
  • You will learn how to work with agile methods together in a software developing team

What you should bring:

  • Thorough knowledge of SQL
  • Technical mindset
  • First experience in coding or working in software projects is a Plus
  • Willing to learn new things with the possibility to develop your creative ideas
  • Enthusiasm and knowledge around the world of cars.
  • Availability to work 20 hours a week for minimum 6 months and love to work flexible
