As the Strategy and Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives and improving daily operations within Author Health’s Clinic and Care Management Operations team. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to execute projects, optimize processes, and support scalable and reliable operations for our psychotherapy team and other areas of the business. Your key responsibilities will include:

WHAT IS YOUR SUPERPOWER?

Strategic Operations Management.

  • Manage and execute key strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Identify inefficiencies in clinic and care management workflows and implement process improvements to enhance scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Use data and analytics to identify trends, optimize operations, and drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of workflows, processes, and operational policies.
  • Facilitate the sharing of new processes across teams to ensure alignment and consistency company-wide.
  • Identify and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and the reliability of PHM and CCM processes.

Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end execution of cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with the psychotherapy team and other departments to identify operational challenges and develop actionable solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee workflows for PHM and CCM programs to improve operational efficiency and program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the product team to relay team feedback and observations, supporting the design and implementation of in-house technology solutions.
  • Track and communicate project progress, barriers, and achievements to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver project reports and updates to leadership, highlighting outcomes, insights, and areas for improvement.

Data Analysis

  • Analyze operational data to identify areas of improvement, inform decision-making, and measure the impact of initiatives.
  • Create dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across clinic operations.
  • Work with data to create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for PHM and CCM programs.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to support strategic planning and operational enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders, including clinical, product, and operational teams, to align efforts and ensure seamless coordination.
  • Act as a liaison between teams to drive effective communication and ensure shared goals are achieved.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional patient care throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives and support the scalability of PHM and CCM programs.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:

Qualifications

  • Passion for contributing to the dynamic and fast-paced environment of an early-stage healthcare startup.
  • Genuine interest in the innovative and evolving landscape of healthcare technologies and solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking, data analysis, and project implementation skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and adept at working independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in strategy or operations roles, with healthcare strategy or operations experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using data-driven approaches.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills to work effectively across teams.
  • Experience driving alignment in cross-functional environments.
