What You’ll Do

The Director, Talent Relations is responsible for executing all business-related strategies for talent development, management, and relations across the entire Authentic portfolio. The Director, Talent Relations will leverage their existing network of global talent and cultivate new relationships to help us grow our business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing relationships with talent across sports & entertainment, as well as corporate executives, and will possess exceptional communication and networking skills.

What you’ll be working on 

  • Develop, recruit, and maintain direct global talent and influencer relationships across sports and entertainment (locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally) to result in coverage and inclusion across Authentic’s portfolio of brands and target audiences.
  • Oversee and manage authentic global gifting program for VIPs, celebrities, and influencers.
  • Manage relationships with global agencies of record and align internal corporate resources for a cohesive plan with marketing, PR, and creative to ensure all deliverables are met timely and accurately.
  • Plan and attend all on and off property global press events including red carpets, grand openings, player events, concerts, celebrity appearances, nightlife opportunities, etc.
  • Develop global strategic plans, media events and announcements related to brand-specific initiatives and objectives.
  • Liaise with executive team and their support staff to ensure all friends of the company including family, investors, board members, prospects needs related to gifting and talent needs are executed.
  • Execute partnerships with talent across the world from post contract phase through campaign completion.
  • Research and provide suggestions of appropriate influencer/ talent and entertainment opportunities for all global client projects.
  • Serve as senior client contact and digital influencer lead, address client issues thoughtfully and effectively. Only involve executive team when necessary.
  • Manage day-to-day communication and relationship management with talent, influencers, and their teams.
  • Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership for executional issues specific to assigned clients/initiatives.
  • Ignite steady drumbeat of proactive and inbound product requests, talent dressing opportunities, and entertainment global event opportunities.
  • Monitor and keep abreast of worldwide industry news and trends, emerging platforms, new talent/influencer opportunities, and report updates to team.
  • Research brand right talent in Film, Music, Sports, Dance, Modeling, & Creative Industries.

Must Haves: 

  • 5-8 years of high-volume experience in talent relations, with a proven track record of success in managing global talent
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Must have strong computer proficiency with strength in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of global social media landscape and familiarity with various social media platforms.
  • Track record of successfully identifying and managing talent and influencers.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically for developing brand-specific initiatives and objectives.
  • Proficient in using analytics tools to track and evaluate talent and influencer performance.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Passion for and understanding of popular culture, trends, and digital media.

 

Primary Location Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000
