Role Overview:
As the Execution Services Team Leader, you will play a crucial role leading the team that develops and maintains our connections to various cryptocurrency exchanges, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our trading systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers focused on exchange connectivity
- Design and implement robust, high-performance connectivity solutions for multiple crypto exchanges.
- Collaborate with trading teams to understand and meet their connectivity requirements
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our exchange integration systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cryptocurrency exchange APIs and protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity issues in a fast-paced trading environment
- Set team strategy, plan workloads and act as the conduit connecting business priorities with team outcomes
The ideal candidate will have
- Extensive experience in software development (ideally gained in a top tier HFT firm), with a focus on order management and entry, or experience in market data will also be relevant for this role
- Strong knowledge of exchange APIs, websockets, and low-latency communication protocols
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages (C++ required, Python and Typescript beneficial)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting
