The System Administrator will maintain a high standard of server, network, and workstation availability for all offices across the country. In this role, an employee will be expected to develop and demonstrate proficiency regarding the essential functions of the job found below.

Responsibilities: 

  • Server Administration
    • Build / Configure / Support / Update - Windows Servers: 2016, 2019, 2022
    • Administrate Active Directory, DHCP, DNS & Print Services
    • Setup and support Backup systems on Veeam & Backup Exec / ViceVersa
    • File archiving and restore
    • Maintain Microsoft SQL database Servers
    • Create, implement and customize OS deployments and software
    • Microsoft CA / PKI
  • Networking
    • Basic Firewall / Switch / Routing / VLAN
    • DHCP / AD Sites and Services
    • iSCSI Networking (SAN / NAS)
    • VMWare Virtual Networking
  • Virtualization
    • vCenter / ESXI Host Management
    • VMWare VMs - Build / Configure / Maintain
    • VMWare Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
  • Storage
    • SAN / NAS Administration
    • Windows NTFS / Share permissions

    • Global / Distributed File Systems
  • Monitoring / Automation
    • Hardware Monitoring – SNMP / ESXI / Dell
    • RMM / Monitoring Tool deployment & configuration
    • Software Deployment / Automation

    • Ability to take initiative and solve problems with limited direction
    • Ability to lead projects and teams as assigned and directed
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • Travel nationally to setup / support office infrastructure as needed
    • Create and implement support documentation and procedures
    • Respond and troubleshoot technical related user issues, including hardware, software, account, and printer issues
  • Setup and support workstations and printers
  • Provide after-hours support for all critical systems as needed
  • Help train and mentor support staff
  • Additional project and tasks assigned as needed
  • Excellent communication / customer service skills both written and oral
  • Must have extreme attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in a corporate setting performing the essential functions of this position as discussed above.
  • Experience with the following:
    • Hardware: Dell, HP, Cisco, Extreme, Konica, Toshiba, Oce, & Canon.
    • Software: Windows Server, Windows 11 & 10, MS Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Must have networking knowledge and comprehension.
  • Must display strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Autodesk is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Windows desktop support experience including software deployment, hardware troubleshooting, licensing management, imaging, workstation upgrades and profile migrations.
