Role Overview

The ideal Generative AI Specialist is a resourceful problem solver who will be working in conjunction with our accounting and finance teams to identify and develop tools to create financial reporting packages and perform analyses on financial data. The Generative AI Specialist will be creative in using and instructing the Attivo team in use of AI and how to combine with software and existing processes to advance our business. Expertise with ChatGPT, other Generative AI models and tools, as well as a willingness to learn, are important for the success of the Generative AI Specialist.
  
This is a work from home position with location preference in the San Francisco Bay area.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement machine learning algorithms, deep learning models, and other generative modeling techniques to create financial models/reports, and unique solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend software for automating processes.
  • Explore novel workflows and user interactions enabled by large generative models.
  • Engage with our employees, understand their needs, and solve those with Generative AI integrated in their workflows
  • Responsible for developing and implementing generative AI solutions that meet clients' needs

Requirements

  • In depth understanding of AI protocols and standards
  • Understanding of technology risks and the ability to assess and mitigate them
  • Experience with debugging and troubleshooting software or solutions design issues
  • Proven ability to stay current with best practices and new technology solutions in the field
  • Ability to display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting or related field
  • 6+ years of professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience programming in Python or R
  • 2+ years of experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLM) desired
  • 2+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable API solutions
  • 2+ years of experience designing solutions to address client requirements

Pay Rate

This range for this part-time, contract role is $125 to $150 per hour. Expected level of effort is approximately 20 hours per week. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Benefits for full-time employees include: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (100% coverage for employees on base plan, 70% coverage for additional family members), participation in Flexible Spending Accounts and 401(k), 3 weeks PTO, voluntary Life Insurance & Disability plans, and work-from-home allowance.
