Job Description
We are seeking a Workday Studio Migration Developer & Requirement Gatherer to support our enterprise-wide Workday migration initiatives. This role will focus on designing, developing, and migrating integrations using Workday Studio, as well as gathering business requirements to optimize Workday integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Workday Studio and Workday integrations, coupled with the ability to engage with stakeholders to capture and translate requirements effectively.
Job Responsibilities
- Workday Studio Development & Migration
- Develop, enhance, and migrate integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Workday RaaS, and Workday APIs.
- Convert existing legacy integrations to Workday Studio while ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to migrate and optimize integrations in line with Workday best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday integrations and migration challenges.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure seamless deployment.
- Implement Workday Security and Workday Business Processes in support of integration activities.
- Requirement Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and other key stakeholders to gather and document integration requirements.
- Analyze current business processes and provide recommendations for Workday integration improvements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for Workday integrations.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment on Workday integration requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to business users and technical teams on Workday integration functionalities.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of Workday Studio development experience with hands-on experience in Workday integrations and migration.
- Strong experience with Workday Integration tools (EIB, Workday Studio, Workday RaaS, Workday Web Services).
- Experience with Workday security, business processes, and custom reports.
- Proven track record in gathering and documenting Workday integration requirements.
- Solid understanding of XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and JSON-based web services.
- Proficiency in data transformation, API integration, and middleware technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot Workday integration issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Workday Integration certification (preferred but not required).
