As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for using customer and market inputs to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive our EVSE product roadmap and develop go-to-market strategies that facilitate growth. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as the primary marketing interface with product and design teams for the product innovation development and commercial launch process
  • Understand, define and incorporate product performance requirements into the product roadmap, including relevant codes and standards (UL, NEC, Energy Star, IEEE, etc.)
  • Document business requirements and communicate them effectively to the engineering teams
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape (hardware, software, networks, go to market strategies, etc.) and convert to actionable insights that differentiate our positioning and messaging strategies
  • Define the evolution of product portfolio ensuring it ties to clearly defined category strategy
  • Co-own product roadmap with technology team and manage product launches from conceptualization through commercialization
  • Create and execute integrated go-to-market strategies with defined, measurable goals
  • Enable revenue growth by communicating the new product value proposition and developing the needed selling tools to support the sales team at commercial launch
  • Participate in and represent Atom Power with industry affinity and trade groups and at associated events
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure product roadmap timelines are met and create annual financial goals are created, including revenue, gross margin, COGS, market share, price and portfolio mix

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of energy markets and the mechanics of energy market operations
  • Have contributed to design portfolio management and real time monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and related software development methodologies
  • Strong business acumen and experience developing and presenting robust business cases
  • Problem solving mind-set
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years work experience in product marketing, management consulting, strategy or similar, preferably in energy transition or electrical equipment 
  • IOT and/or SaaS experience preferred
  • Proven performance driving revenue growth
  • B.A or B.S. required, MBA preferred
  • Customer facing marketing or sales experience in the electrical industry
