This position is full-time in the office, and it will require attendance in our Chicago office, Monday to Friday.
Position Overview
We are looking to expand our team by hiring a Legal Administrator, a team player who is ready to make the role their own and bring their own ideas and innovations to the table. Reporting to the Legal Operations Manager, this role will support both our office administrative needs and provide administrative support for the Legal Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Administration (approximately 70% of time)
- Administrative support of legal document management. This includes but is not limited to, reviewing, printing, checking for completion, obtaining signatures, maintaining confidentiality and shipping.
- Other administrative tasks that support the legal operations function
Office Administration (approximately 30% of time)
- Welcome visitors, employees, and providers in the front desk
- Manage phone calls and mail (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Maintain office expenditure reports
- Serve as the point of contact for maintenance, mail, supplies, and equipment
- Manage inbound and outbound mail and shipping for office needs and new hires.
- Maintain a well-organized office environment and office operations including maintaining supplies inventory
- Event planning / management / support (social, company meetings, meet-ups, etc.) as directed
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- 2+ years of previous administration experience preferred, preferably in a legal capacity, or experience in maintaining confidential information
- Prior experience in supporting office management (reception, facility management, etc)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Willingness to support both office and legal operations functions.
- IT knowledge or disposition to learn.

Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 - Salary ranges are designed to provide candidates with a clear understanding of potential compensation. The final compensation offered may vary based on a variety of factors, including bonuses and/or incentives or a candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
