How You Will Make an Impact:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Asset Coordinator to manage and oversee company equipment, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and efficient deployment. This role involves maintaining asset records, coordinating equipment logistics, and supporting operational needs to optimize resource availability.
Responsibilities:
- Equipment Tracking: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all equipment and their current locations to ensure accountability and readiness.
- GPS Unit Management: Install and maintain GPS tracking units on designated assets to monitor movement and usage.
- Asset Registration: Register leased equipment and maintain accurate and organized records of registrations for compliance and reference purposes.
- Logistics Coordination: Arrange hotshots and trucking services as needed to facilitate efficient equipment transportation and relocation.
- Repair Tracking: Monitor the status of equipment repairs and coordinate with relevant teams to meet upcoming operational demands.
- Sign-In/Sign-Out Oversight: Ensure proper documentation of equipment check-in and check-out procedures during pickups and returns.
- Specification Support: Provide detailed equipment specifications and technical details as requested by internal teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in diesel mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using asset management software and GPS tracking systems.
- Knowledge of logistics coordination and equipment maintenance processes is a plus.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High level of accountability and dependability.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams.
