How You Will Make an Impact:
The Parts Clerk will work closely with other departments to ensure timely parts distribution, proper stock levels, and the smooth flow of materials for maintenance, repair, and production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing parts inventory, ensuring that necessary components are available for operations, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming parts and materials shipments, ensuring accurate quantities and
- Organize and maintain the parts inventory, including labeling, shelving, and cataloging
- Issue and distribute parts to technicians, mechanics, or other departments as
- Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and identify any
- Update inventory management systems and databases to track stock levels and order
- Communicate with suppliers to reorder parts and materials when stock levels are
- Ensure all parts are stored in a safe, clean, and organized manner to prevent damage or
- Assist with locating and retrieving parts based on specific needs or
- Provide excellent customer service to internal staff, answering questions and resolving issues related to parts and
- Prepare and package parts for shipping or delivery when
- Assist with maintaining and updating parts catalogs, manuals, and other
- Collaborate with other departments to identify parts requirements and streamline the ordering and receiving
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as a parts clerk, warehouse associate, or in a similar
- Knowledge of parts and inventory management, with the ability to identify and locate
- Proficient with inventory management systems, databases, and basic office software (e.g., Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts or materials when
- Good communication skills, both verbal and
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a
- Basic knowledge of parts used in relevant industries (e.g., automotive, manufacturing, construction) is a
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification or training in inventory management is a plus).
