We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our company.

ATI seeks a Data Analyst to join the Prescription Drug Reimbursement Practice. This individual will support client engagements - from conception to presentation; have experience and comfort in research and statistical analysis using claims data and other sources; manage to project deadlines; have some familiarity with the US healthcare system and health policy issues in related to prescription drugs; and have an interest in growing with the Prescription Drug Reimbursement Practice and company.

Responsibilities                                                           

  • Develop and maintain datasets and models for mining, analyses, and visualizations around prescription drug pricing trends and forecasts.
  • Serve as lead analyst across a range of projects related to the pricing and payment of prescription drugs, including federal, state, and supply chain clients.
  • Design research studies and protocols and develop best-practices around research methodologies.
  • Develop summaries, research papers, and PowerPoint presentations to provide strategic recommendations to clients based on the research you’ve conducted.
  • Think creatively about analyses and datasets to deliver value to clients.
  • Responsible for quality and accuracy of analysis.
  • Manage projects from conception and kickoff through final delivery of project.
  • Present to clients on matters related to your research.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree in business, statistics, economics, mathematics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in an analytical or statistical position within healthcare preferred.
  • Experience and comfort in independently analyzing data and preparing written summaries and visual displays that succinctly convey information.
  • Ability to manage and lead projects while providing critical insights into study design and research methods.
  • Ability to contribute to business development by supporting firm’s thought leadership efforts (e.g., data analysis used in external press) and helping to manage client relationships.
  • Ability to problem solve independently.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to synthesize research findings into relevant insights.
  • High level of initiative, quick learning ability, and resourcefulness.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Comfort presenting analyses to external audiences.

Preferred skills

  • Programming experience with SAS, R, or similar statistical language.
  • Experience with Excel, financial modeling or other quantitative research experience.
  • Basic understanding of consulting environment
