About the Role:

Join Our Founding Team at Athena Education's London Hub!

Are you a masterful storyteller with a passion for education? Athena Education Consulting is seeking a Creative Editor to join our founding team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the narratives of tomorrow's leaders through creative writing and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement creative strategies to enhance student college essays and projects, ensuring they captivate admissions officers at top universities.
2. Lead the London Writing Vertical, overseeing the creative direction and quality assurance of student essays and projects.
3. Conduct thorough quality checks on essays, ensuring they meet the highest standards and effectively communicate students' stories to admissions officers
4. Collaborate with students to understand their unique strengths and aspirations, translating their personal stories into compelling narratives.
5. Lead workshops and training sessions to improve students' writing skills and unleash their creativity.
6. Support the PR team by crafting engaging content for various platforms, amplifying our reach and impact.
7. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, empowering them to navigate the college application process with confidence.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously elevate our creative offerings.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication strategies and exceptional project outcomes.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a top university, demonstrating your academic excellence.
2. 1 to 3 years of experience in creative writing/editing, showcasing your ability to craft compelling narratives.
3. Exceptional long-form writing skills, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to engage and inspire.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at juggling multiple projects.
1. Ability to perform well under pressure.
2. Ability to manage personal time and meet established deadlines.
5. Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a deep passion for storytelling and education.

Other Considerations

1. Understanding of the  Higher Education sector in the US, UK, and Rest of the World.
2. Ability to demonstrate empathy, tolerance, patient, and tact when speaking to students
