Verona is an authenticated matchmaking community designed exclusively for the modern, global Indian. We’re on a mission to foster fulfilling partnerships that last lifetimes. In a country where dating app disillusionment abounds, Verona makes the matchmaking process delightful—and effective.
Verona was founded by two serial entrepreneurs Mr. Poshak Agrawal and Mr. Rahul Subramaniam, and backed by some of the biggest names in global technology, such as Mr. Michael Novogratz (ex-Fortress Investment Group, CEO of Galaxy Group Investments) & Mr. Rishi Jaitly (ex-Twitter CEO for Asia, Middle East, and Africa).
Security and Science make the basis of Verona where before matchmaking there will be Fintech-grade authentication to ensure fraud detection. Through a deep appreciation for the science of compatibility, with Verona, we will be using AI for matchmaking based on an individual's core & shared values.

You will play a pivotal role in transforming the way Indians seek lifelong partners. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the relationship consulting department, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our clients. You will be at the forefront of understanding their expectations, needs, and desires in a compatible relationship and effectively upselling our services.
Key skills:

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s from a Tier 1 institute (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience working in client facing roles
- Should be able to build and run processes for effective delivery of and should own client satisfaction
- Experience in counseling, relationship building
Key Responsibilities:
Needs Assessment:
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their expectations and requirements in a compatible relationship.
- Utilize active listening skills to gather crucial information about clients' values, preferences, and aspirations.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to contribute insights for promotional and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of product managers, researchers, and engineers to help develop and iterate on product features.
Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement of Verona's services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into the relationship consulting department.
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess the success and impact of relationship consulting efforts.
Business Development:
- Identify & convert opportunities for up-selling additional services to meet clients' evolving needs.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of Verona's premium services.
Relationship Consulting:
- Assist in building the relationship consulting practice.
- Assist in setting systems of identifying client archetypes & process of client engagement, counseling & servicing specific requirements.
Location/Work Environment:
The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India.
- We have built a creative space in a top corporate building in a prime location in Gurgaon. The office is on M.G. Road, a 2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station.
- Our team consists of creative and colorful characters, all goal-oriented and hungry for growth (and healthy snacks). The work environment is a mixture of formal and playful, as we all strive to get things done while sipping Italian coffee brewed in-house.
