With two active partnerships with large biopharmaceutical companies plus a robust and growing internal pipeline, Atalanta is poised to make a difference in patients’ lives. Atalanta fosters a culture of integrity, respect, collaboration, opportunity, learning, and fun. We are located in Boston’s vibrant Seaport district near South Station.

Atalanta is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientist I or Scientist II to join our Neuroscience Biology team to support Atalanta’s therapeutic development programs.  This individual will be responsible for planning, developing, optimizing, validating, and executing bioanalytical methods for assessment of drug pharmacodynamics during the preclinical development of novel oligonucleotide therapies. The successful candidate will contribute to multiple drug development programs with a focus on translational efforts to enable clinical development.

The Scientist I/II should have extensive experience in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology as well as considerable experience in establishing robust assays for protein and mRNA quantitation. This position is ideal for a candidate who is creative, highly collaborative, results-oriented, and desires to contribute to development of novel therapeutics for severe neurological diseases.

  • Design, develop and validate biochemical and molecular assays to support in-house pre-clinical PK/PD assessments
  • Molecular and cellular biology as needed to generate reproducible model systems.
  • Plan and execute study sample bioanalysis to support early development and preclinical studies including assay transfer and oversight of internal groups or CROs.
