Lead cross-functional programs, collaborating with the leadership team to drive our pipeline's advancement. As the central source for program status, you'll optimize resources, enabling atai to prioritize critical activities and pivot when needed.

The specifics of your day-to-day will include:

  • Drive the implementation of the long-term business plan by overseeing and guiding program operations
  • Lead and coordinate functions within atai in support of the overall target product profile
  • Track progress against agreed upon initiatives and key results via Smartsheets, meeting minutes, and e-mails
  • Communicate performance and progress, risks and requirements to atai leadership on the weekly and as needed basis
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve blockers to initiative progress
  • Be responsible for budget and long-term planning of the asset
  • Establish Integrated Program plan process to ensure successful execution of clinical development and commercialization strategy

Qualifications / experience that we'd like to see:

  • BA or BS required; Advanced degrees and certifications advantageous.
  • 7 - 10+ years project and program management experience in pharma, digital health, or life sciences space, with experience/interest in the field of neuroscience and/or mental health disorders.
  • Familiarity with multiple project management methodologies and ability to adapt methodologies to an innovative and fast-growing company.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments
  • Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance stakeholder needs with business priorities, and drive detailed trade-offs within and across programs.
  • An outstanding communicator with the ability to navigate complexity, establish common ground with empathy and candor, manage conflicting points of view, and articulate the rationale behind decisions.
  • Hands-on leader with a “get things done” mentality and a strong track record in leading cross-functional teams.
