As a Business Strategy Intern, you will work on atai’s top priorities and determine how best to tackle solving the company’s biggest opportunities and most challenging problems. This is a 3-6 month internship opportunity starting in September 2022.

Responsibilities

  • Structure, launch, and drive your workstreams by developing hypotheses, translating these hypotheses into work plans, conducting analysis including financial models, analyzing market / competitive trends, business drivers and operating metrics, crafting insights and pushing the thinking, and developing recommendations
  • Prepare presentations and communicate findings to the leadership team and the whole atai team
  • Directly support the atai team in operational and administrative matters 
  • Assist in evaluating and developing new investment opportunities from our acquisitions pipeline, and in establishing multidisciplinary collaboration and strategic alliances with external parties
  • Take-over own projects which add value to our business 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or any MINT/STEM or related field (minimum is a completed Bachelor's degree)
  • Proficient command of English in a professional context 
  • Prior working/internship experience in venture capital, high-growth startup, consulting and/or investment banking 
  • Comfortable in fast-paced small company environment where you will be expected to take ownership and accept responsibility from day one
  • Highly analytical mindset 
  • Excellent project management and MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
