An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Associate Product Manager in atai’s rapidly growing Digital Product & Data function. The function spans the Strategy & Innovation and R&D areas of the company and works with atai’s underlying technology and compound companies to support the creation of digital product that will innovate and personalize how mental health is delivered. Our current area of product focus is the creation of our proprietary Digital Therapeutics (“DTx”) for use in combination with our drugs. Beyond this we are also looking at decentralized trial tools, clinician training and other innovative ways to bring scalable mental care to patients.

As Associate Manager Associate, you will be responsible for working closely with the Product Management team and our technology and compound platform companies across all DTx planning and execution activities throughout the product lifecycle. This will include supporting the definition of our product strategy and Product Vision through stakeholder research and interviews; gathering product and compound requirements of patient and clinician pathways; working closely with other atai functions and platform companies to coordinate product delivery. The Associate Product Manager will also work across other areas of the Digital Product and Data group to ensure holistic progress towards all digital and data objectives.

  • Conduct research on patient and clinician pathways to identify stakeholder needs and market gaps

  • Support our technology subsidiaries in their product delivery cycle from clinical protocol design to product creation

  • Work closely with the Product Manager on managing the user testing process. Monitor and report on patient and clinician feedback to user testing. Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience

  • Perform quality assurance controls on products

  • Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines for our technology platform companies

  • Liaise with atai’s Marketing department to ensure proper positioning of new DTx products

  • Work across our broader Digital Product and Data team, especially our growth data science team, to ensure our digital product development is capturing our data analytics and biomarker strategy around treatment personalization and outcome prediction.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience working in product management, either in technology or healthcare, as an Associate Product Manager or equivalent

  • Experience of building and launching clinically validated product with an appreciation for patient and clinician requirements

  • Prior experience or an appreciation for developing digital therapeutics

  • Experience of developing product to support an underlying data strategy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ideally, a background in psychology or the life sciences

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams working in multiple geographic without formal authority

  • High levels of energy, a passion to work at pace, and growth mindset

  • Entrepreneurial – always looking to spot problems to be solved or solutions to be enhanced
