Primary Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Perform daily fraud detection activities and conduct in-depth anti-fraud investigations.
  • Monitor real-time queues and identify high-risk transactions.
  • Identify patterns of fraudulent behavior and new areas of investigation.
  • Maintain fraud analysis models to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company systems and identify system improvements to prevent fraudulent activities.
  • Liaise with payment processors, merchants, and regulators to resolve customer disputes and represent the company.
  • Assist the fraud leadership team with any ad-hoc requests that may arise.
  • Generate suspicious activity reports and risk management reports for management.




Core Competencies and Skills:

  • Previous experience in fraud prevention within cards, Pix, other APMs, and online payment processing.
  • Good understanding of local and international payment methods.
  • Excellent English knowledge and good communication skills with the ability to build and maintain working relationships with the wider business.
  • Working knowledge of fraud tools, international document verification, KYC, and AML/CFT procedures.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, and a high level of attention to detail that is capable of managing their workload and able to prioritize in a high-pressure environment.
