Primary Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Engage in the entire lifecycle of feature development, encompassing analysis, design, efficient coding, effective debugging-testing, and production monitoring.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend software solutions, ensuring robustness, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, developers, etc, to understand requirements, contribute to technical discussions, and deliver software solutions that meet business objectives.
- Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
- Take an active role in system engagement by testing proposed solutions, with a focus on participating in UI tests to optimize performance.
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Deep understanding of business logic to provide the best tools
Core Competencies and Skills:
- 3+ Proven work experience as a Backend developer
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technology/ Programming Skills
- Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in Java, Spring framework and relational DB language SQL preferred.
- Strong skills in requirement analysis for financial applications
- Familiarity with REST services and related technologies.
- Interest and focus on User Experience
- Proficient in both English listening and speaking, facilitating clear and productive cross-team communication
