As an Astera Labs Product Engineer, you will be part of a team that designs-in and supports Astera Labs’ portfolio of connectivity products in the world’s leading cloud service providers and server and networking OEMs. In this role, you will need to execute product engineering deliverables during development, qualification, initial ramp, and high-volume production.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong academic/technical background in electrical engineering; Bachelor is required; Master is preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a role that includes hands-on elements of semiconductor development, characterization, qualification and release to production.
  • Professional attitude with the ability to prioritize a dynamic list of multiple tasks, working closely with the design, applications and ATE engineers working with minimal guidance and supervision to deliver a quality solution.
  • Authorized to work in the US and start immediately.

Required Experience

  • Quality mindset putting silicon health at the center of all development activities.
  • Strong analysis skills for architecting the scope of silicon characterization, obtaining results, and determining datasheet limits.
  • Experience using lab equipment (high-speed oscilloscopes).
  • Programming in C/C++, Python, or other equivalent programming experience.
  • Extremely motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hard-working and multidisciplinary team.
  • Meticulous and detail oriented. Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.

Preferred experience

  • Statistical analysis and data visualization.

The base salary range is USD 120,000.00 – USD 170,000.00. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
