Portfolio Support Specialist
The Portfolio Performance Specialist will leverage their multifamily industry experience, creativity and critical-thinking skills to create and monitor impactful operational and marketing/leasing plans for the assigned portfolio.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Innovative, self-starter who can work independently with limited oversight using a high degree of creativity and independent judgment.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of leasing, marketing, accounting, design, property maintenance, and social media disciplines related to the multifamily industry.
- Identify and evaluate property performance gaps – operational and marketing/leasing - and develop action plans that define expectations and result in success for the property.
- Provide portfolio leadership with updates on action plan progress and make recommendations to ensure action plans are successful.
- Demonstrate strong, active listening skills, ability to solicit feedback and move others to action to achieve performance goals and meet expectations.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with a high sense of urgency and responsiveness and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Display the utmost professionalism in appearance and interpersonal skills.
- Possess and display a positive, “can do” attitude and strong work ethic.
- Effectively participate and support a culture of collaboration, teamwork and cooperation among onsite staff, portfolio leadership and corporate teams.
- Flexibility to travel up to 50% to evaluate, implement, and monitor property performance plans with a focus on new property stabilization and properties requiring improvements in performance.
- Detail-oriented and the ability to adhere to company standards.
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or at least five (5) years of experience in multifamily industry with focus on marketing/leasing and operations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
- Proficient in the use of the full suite of Microsoft Office software products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
