About the role:

Aspire is on a mission to revolutionize the way the world experiences payments. As we scale and expand to more countries, we're looking for a Product Director to reinforce and lead our Payments Infrastructure team. 

In this role, with your team, you will own the vision and roadmap for the evolution of our payment infrastructure, and be responsible for its execution. For all core payment products - existing and upcoming:

  • Accounts issuance & remittances
  • Cards issuance
  • Acceptance 
  • Investments
  • Crypto payments

Responsibilities

  • Lead a talented team of product managers responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining our payments infrastructure and products.
  • Drive the technical roadmap for our payments platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance, security, and efficiency across the payments ecosystem.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across product, compliance, regulatory, network partnerships, treasury, operations, business development team to ensure alignment and deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users and the market.
  • Stay at the forefront of the payments industry by identifying emerging trends and technologies, and leading efforts to integrate them into our platform.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, empowering your team to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing product teams including the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide a diverse team.
  • Direct Product Experience in 2 of the following: 
    • Core banking / Remittances 
    • Card issuance
    • Acceptance / Gateway
  • Deep understanding of payments infrastructure and technologies, including experience with relevant APIs, protocols, and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Performing a similar role with global exposure
  • Previous Founder or Management Consulting experience a plus
